Things to do

The Water Mill is a working water mill that has been milling for over 1,000 years!  Stunning views and peaceful landscapes, enjoy a homemade cream tea made with our own homemade flour, feed the birds, watch the Water Mill work and take a trip through history in the rural museums.  We are set in the heart of the Island’s biosphere, perfect day out for all the family.

Enjoy the garden walks, Dragon Golf Course, War museum, roller mill and museums. Depending on the season, the stream at the bottom of the hill (running behind the café) is home to eels. Not forgetting the large fish stock in the mill stream, buy a bag of fish food (and watch them almost leap out of the water to get it!)

We have some of the best views of the Island for those who are able (and willing!) to take the short walk up to the top of the hill.
